Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus of 30 May 2018 No. 408 approved a new Regulation on the procedure for the opening and operation of representative offices of foreign companies in Belarus. Lawyers of Borovtsov and Salei, Nikolai Artemyev and Anastasia Morgun, analyzed the main changes in the issues of opening and operation of representative offices.
 

Key changes concern, in particular, the competence of bodies; documents for the opening and operation of representative offices; terms of consideration of documents, provision of an annual report.

The new Regulation comes into force and is effective from September 3, 2018.
