Vassili Salei is one of the founders of Borovtsov & Salei, Senior Partner and Head of Corporate / Investments / M&A.

After graduating from the Faculty of Law of Belarusian State University summa cum laude in 1988, Vassili became one of the youngest judges in former USSR. Further, after having successfully completed courses on American law at the University of Nevada (Reno, USA) and Georgetown University (Washington, USA), Vassili acquired international experience in the office of the Federal Public Defender (Tennessee, USA) and Chadbourne & Parke international law firm (New York, USA). After the US experience Vassili has made a decision to establish Borovtsov & Salei.

The entering into Belarusian market of such multinational corporations as Coca-Cola, McDonald's, Ford Motors, Austria Telecom, Heineken, Franck Muller, etc. is connected with the name of Vassili Salei. Today Vassili is one of the most authoritative lawyers in Belarus advising on the largest investment projects in the country.

Vasilii is recognized by the Chambers Guide as an 'Eminent Practitioner'. He also recognized as one of the leaders of the Belarusian legal market by all the authoritative legal rankings including Legal 500, IFLR1000 and Who's Who Legal.
